In the heart of Colombia, perched atop the mountains of northern Tolima, from volcanic soils bathed by pristine waters that descend from the snowy cordillera, grows our distinctive estate coffee "Café de la Noria".
Hand picked, pulped, washed and dried with the utmost care, the highest quality beans are selected for our final product. An expertly executed medium roast results in caramel, almond and chocolate notes that amuse the nose and palate, while the well rounded balance of attributes yields a delicate flavour that lasts in the mouth.
La Noria coffee farm incorporates environmentally friendly processes into the traditional labour intensive operation of high altitude coffee plantations, paying tribute to the extraordinary land we have been blessed with. Our high standards of sustainable agriculture and fair trade have been recognised with the most strict international certifications : UTZ, Rainforest Alliance, 4C and FLO-CERT (Fairtrade).
Above all, this excellent product is achieved thanks to the coffee growers' love of their trade and dedication to work. The so called "Cafeteros" perpetuate a legacy of families devoted to producing the best crop for several generations. La Noria coffee farm strives to reward their tireless efforts with enduring welfare.

Our story
Mum and Dad, Luz Marina and Jorge, grew up in Libano, Tolima. Each, born within families of coffee growers at a point in time when coffee farming in Colombia was the country's "trademark". Thus, they grew up immersed in a thriving coffee culture.
School sweethearts, they started a family at a very young age, yet, proving their tenacity, undertook higher education while raising their first born and have become a beautiful marriage of 40+ years.
Today, sons Jorge, Mauricio and Juan Camilo, are scattered over three continents following individual interests. But at the same time that we chase academic, cultural and work experiences, we are passionate about our heritage and keen participants in the family's enterprise.
Using our location as vantage points, we are able to take coffee from the farm directly into the final markets. Bringing Cafe de la Noria to local roasters, cafes and consumers with guaranteed authenticity and traceability. With a face and a sense of origin. Just like going to the farmers’ market with the most authentic specialty products.
